This book gave us so many new characters and new plot points. I was glad to see them separate and do their own things in this book. The first two books primarily followed Celaena, Chaol, and Dorian. Chaol and Aedian, Celaena and Rowan, Dorian and Sorcha, Manon. I love that this book mixed up which characters interacted. I still like Chaol, but I’m also still kinda mad at him because of what happened in Crown of Midnight. Rowan is my new favorite and I won’t have anyone convince me otherwise. This series is completely worthy of all the hype and praise it gets. I mentioned this in my reviews of Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight but before I read this series, I really didn’t understand the hype for this series. Will Celaena find the strength to not only fight her inner demons, but to take on the evil that is about to be unleashed? Meanwhile, brutal and monstrous forces are gathering on the horizon, intent on enslaving her world. Now, she must travel to a new land to confront her darkest truth…a truth about her heritage that could change her life-and her future-forever. **Disclaimer: There are spoilers below for Throne of Glass and Crown of Midnight.**Ĭelaena Sardothien, heroine of the New York Times bestselling series, rises from the ashes to burn even brighter than before.Ĭelaena has survived deadly contests and shattering heartbreak-but at an unspeakable cost.
